Job Summary
Support and maintain Epic application functionality with a primary focus on Emergency Department workflows and Epic ASAP. Troubleshoot system and workflow issues while assisting with ASAP operations and participating in application upgrades, testing, and configuration. Work with clinical and operational teams to analyze user needs, recommend effective system solutions, and improve Epic functionality within a live healthcare environment. Provide ongoing support in a live setting, requiring Epic ASAP certification and at least four years of experience in an Epic application environment. This on-site role in Houston, Texas, offers exposure to Epic optimization and clinical technology projects in a collaborative healthcare IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Epic ASAP certification
- At least 4 years of experience working in an Epic application environment
- Previous experience supporting an Emergency Department using Epic
- Ability to work on-site in the greater Houston area
- This is an on-site position in the Houston, Texas area
Desired Qualifications
- ClinDoc or Ambulatory certification
- Houston-area candidates preferred
