Job Summary
The Senior Epic Application Analyst leads the design, build, testing, training, support, and project management of Epic applications. Responsibilities include managing communications and deliverables among various stakeholders, supporting end-users, prioritizing support requests, and owning issue resolution with internal IT teams and Epic. The role involves developing and maintaining application policies and training plans, managing ongoing projects, leading workgroups, and providing on-site support for clinics during implementation. Candidates should excel in project management, problem-solving, and possess strong analytical skills, alongside having a Bachelor's degree and significant relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of six (6) years of IT analyst/support experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum six (6) years of work experience, supporting enterprise application systems required.
- Six (6) years’ experience working with EHR preferred.
- Must obtain certification in assigned Epic application within three (3) months of employment.
- Epic certification must be continuously maintained.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent business analysis, requirement gathering, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported highly preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation and consensus building skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with people with different backgrounds.
