Job Summary
Lead a $150 million utility-scale solar EPC project from mobilization through commissioning and final closeout in Virginia. Manage project execution including safety, engineering coordination, procurement, scheduling, subcontract management, cost control, and client relations. Develop schedules, cost forecasts, and execution plans while monitoring budgets and profitability. Partner with field leadership to drive productivity and implement risk mitigation strategies. Negotiate change orders, oversee documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance. Mentor project staff and maintain strong relationships with owners and stakeholders. Full-time on-site role with relocation support; relocation or extended travel required for construction duration.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction project management experience
- significant EPC experience
- Demonstrated success managing utility-scale solar EPC projects valued at $75M+
- Experience managing projects from contract award through commissioning
- Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, procurement, scheduling, project controls, forecasting, and subcontract management
- Experience managing project financials, budgets, and cost reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- OSHA and construction safety knowledge
- Valid driver's license
- On-site in Virginia
- Full-time field assignment
- Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position
- This position requires relocation or extended travel to the project site for the duration of construction

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is preferred
