Job Summary
Conduct daily reconciliation of project cost data, including commitments, accruals, actuals, and ETC/EAC forecasts, against the corporate general ledger and financial statements. Investigate and resolve variances while aligning project forecasts and cash flow with corporate budgeting, FP&A, and capital-planning cycles. Establish consistent cost coding and WBS/CBS-to-chart-of-accounts mapping across Oracle Unifier and Oracle Fusion systems. Consolidate multi-project cost data into portfolio-level reporting for executive stakeholders and support month-end close through accurate accruals and cost transfers. Drive governance improvements to enhance cost information accuracy and partner with project controls, accounting, procurement, and treasury to maintain a single source of truth. Provide leadership analysis on cost performance, risks, and trends.
Required Qualifications
- Experience reconciling project cost data (commitments, accruals, actuals, ETC/EAC forecasts) with corporate general ledger and financial statements
- Ability to investigate and resolve variances in project cost data
- Experience aligning project cost forecasts and cash flow with corporate budgeting, FP&A, and capital-planning cycles
- Knowledge of cost coding and WBS/CBS-to-chart-of-accounts mapping
- Experience with Oracle Unifier and Oracle Fusion
- Ability to consolidate multi-project cost data into portfolio-level reporting
- Experience supporting month-end and period-end close through accurate project accruals, cost transfers, and capitalization
- Ability to drive governance, process, and controls improvements that increase the accuracy and timeliness of cost information
- Experience partnering with project controls managers, accounting, procurement, and treasury
- Ability to provide analysis and recommendations to leadership on cost performance, risks, and trends at both the project and corporate levels
