Senior EPC Cost Estimator - Industrial Water Process Technology

Job Summary
Senior EPC Cost Estimator in Houston will generate and maintain proposal-specific costing data, obtain vendor/contractor quotes and work with Application Engineers during proposal development, cross-check quotations against project specifications, maintain quote logs (pre-bid quote, project quote, and project PO data for EPC-related items such as civil works, concrete, mechanical equipment installation, piping installation, site fabrications, pipe racks and supports, building works, MEP building works, E&I installation, BOP installation), develop EPC RFQs and verify supplier quotations for compliance, prepare material and labor estimates for installation activities, manage vendor/contractor relationships and bids, use bid data to perform detailed cost analyses, prepare estimates using RS Means, Sage (Formerly Timberline), and Aspen Estimating software, and present estimates to the Project Manager and Management. Strong communication, negotiation, organization, time-management, and proficiency in Excel and SAP are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as an Estimator
- Experience in estimation of Civil works, Mechanical Installation works (Heavy Industrial), Building works, MEP, and E & I Installation works
- Hands-on experience with RS Means & Sage (Formerly Timberline) estimating software
- Proficiency in ASPEN Estimating software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in SAP
