Job Summary
Conduct audits, analyze, and report environmental performance to clients and regulatory bodies while advising design and construction teams on minimizing impacts. Manage subcontractors for specific environmental tasks and lead impact assessments to mitigate risks and costs. Prepare environmental reports for leadership review, coordinate public hearings and consultations, and train staff on environmental responsibilities. Raise awareness of emerging issues through education and research. This role supports building stronger, more resilient communities with a focus on regulatory compliance and technical communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or an environmental related field
Desired Qualifications
- Environmental certification
- 3+ years' experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance
- CPESC Certification (CA QSP)
- Knowledge of the local regulations or skill sets related to the specific work on project
- Technical writing and communication skills
- Able to lead a team or project effort
- Able to manage subcontractors for project specific specialty environmental work
