Senior Environmental Scientist

Job Summary
Conduct research using primary data sources to analyze key themes and trends, while coordinating environmental impact assessments and overseeing risk management processes. Monitor HSE performance against KPIs, resolve noncompliance issues, and prepare reports and proposals for bid solicitations. Manage client relationships, document process improvements, and lead climate adaptation strategies for large-scale projects. Deliver small- to medium-scale projects within established program plans while participating in community of practice activities. Requires 10+ years of environmental consulting experience, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, and ability to travel for client meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance, remediation & design, site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and willingness to travel client meetings
Desired Qualifications
- PE or PG will be highly regarded
- Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
