Senior Environmental Engineer/Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
Develop strategic direction for site investigation and remediation projects, including long-range solutions to reduce environmental risk. Negotiate with regulatory agencies and manage compliance with applicable orders, directives, and permits. Assign tasks to engineers, scientists, and field personnel while coordinating inspections, soil and groundwater sampling, and contractor oversight across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Plan and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules to meet client, regulatory, and agency deadlines. Lead proposals and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and written communications with clients, subconsultants, and review staff. Conduct advanced evaluations of subsurface strata to characterize aquifer properties and predict pollutant movement.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related degree
- Minimum 15 years of experience
- PE license
- Driving is a requirement of the position
- A clean driving record
- Current OSHA 40-hour certification
- Other applicable certification
- Strong hydrogeological technical skills
- Proven track record of securing new clients
- Leading successful business development initiatives
- Capacity to evaluate complex data
- Working knowledge of NJDEP, NYSDEC, NYCDEP and/or PADEP requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic MS Office software
Desired Qualifications
- New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)
- Current 8-hour annual refresher course certification
- Working knowledge of NJDEP, NYSDEC, NYCDEP and/or PADEP requirements
