Job Summary
Senior Environmental Engineer to lead remediation projects from investigation through cleanup, closure, and regulatory approval. Lead technical studies, design, and evaluation of project alternatives; prepare and review key technical reports and deliverables; develop cost estimates; manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects; coordinate with regulatory agencies; maintain client relationships and support proposal development. Guide and mentor junior staff to ensure quality and consistency in project delivery; communicate technical findings to clients and stakeholders; contribute to business development and expanding service offerings; apply strong environmental remediation expertise and regulatory knowledge to deliver practical cleanup strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, Washington State PE license preferred
- At least 7 years of environmental consulting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (reports, proposals, client communication)
- Experience in site investigation, remediation design, and implementation
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Familiarity with GIS and environmental data tools
- Experience in remediation areas (PFAS, sediment, vapor intrusion, stormwater)
