Job Summary
Administer the full lifecycle of environmental permits, including Air Quality, NPDES, Water Rights, and Endangered Species. Lead the development of critical plans like SWPPP and SPCC, and manage the timely submission of regulatory reports. Build relationships with local, state, and federal regulators while representing the company at public hearings. Conduct site inspections to identify risks and provide hands-on guidance to Plant Managers on best practices for water discharge and waste management. Serve as a technical lead for environmental incidents, overseeing remediation and root-cause analysis. Assist in property acquisitions by managing Phase I/II investigations and coordinate with land management teams for mining reclamation. Identify innovative engineering solutions to improve air and water quality. Actively promote and adhere to safety standards, ensuring all activities are performed without risk to personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related STEM field
- 5+ years of experience in Environmental Compliance, preferably within the Aggregates, Mining, or Heavy Construction Industries

- Must have good depth perception with or without seeing aid for distances up to 150 feet
- Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs
