Job Summary
Administer the full lifecycle of environmental permits, including Air Quality, NPDES, and Wetlands, while managing regulatory reports and emissions inventories. Lead the development of critical plans such as SWPPP and SPCC, and conduct site inspections to identify compliance risks. Act as the primary liaison with local, state, and federal regulators, representing the company at public hearings and managing incident remediation. Provide technical mentorship to junior staff and guide Plant Managers on best practices for water discharge and waste management. Coordinate environmental investigations for property acquisitions and ensure mining reclamation meets long-term sustainability goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related STEM field
- 5+ years of experience in Environmental Compliance, preferably within the Aggregates, Mining, or Heavy Construction Industries

- Good depth perception with or without seeing aid for distances up to 150 feet
- Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs
