Job Summary
Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects by scheduling resources, coordinating task schedules, and ensuring budget adherence and client invoicing. Interpret technical data, finalize remediation reports for principal review, and lead field teams at industrial sites for sample collection, operational monitoring, and subcontractor oversight. Assist with proposal preparation, cost estimates, and marketing activities while mentoring junior staff to support their technical growth as consultants. This role involves direct client and regulatory agency interaction, requiring proficiency in senior-level interpretation, conceptual design, and advanced data analysis. The position is hybrid, with occasional field work in adverse weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of environmental consulting experience
- Holds professional certification as a P.E., or absent certification, a minimum of 7 years working with a licensed professional
- Proficient in performing senior level interpretation work including remedial cost estimates, future remedial measures selection, and costing
- Experience performing conceptual and detailed remedial design work
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies
- Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of project/staff level professionals based on direct hands-on interactions
- Ability to drive to different project sites
- Ability to physically move around outdoors in various terrains
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
