Job Summary
Enforce compliance with current permits by developing environmental reports, establishing monitoring schedules, and reviewing technical documents. Compile data to identify trends, provide training for technicians, and lead proactive projects for site reclamation and management. Perform ongoing inspections and risk assessments to address hazards while ensuring all activities follow safe processes. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings to establish a safety culture. Work a two-week on, two-week off rotation with 12-hour shifts at a remote camp in British Columbia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hydrology, environmental science, civil engineering or environmental engineering, or related equivalent
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience in Environmental roles
- Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp
Desired Qualifications
- Mining, Oil and Gas or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred
