Senior Environmental Consultant - Environmental Engineering Practice

Job Summary
Conduct technical environmental risk evaluations and lead underwriting phone surveys for existing and potential insureds. Review and summarize findings from environmental database searches, develop technical work products, and provide risk consultation to underwriting business partners and regional management. Perform account site visits, deliver training programs, and support policy submission while maintaining broad expertise in environmental insurance coverages and federal regulations. Collaborate with internal and external engineers to assess risk for current and prospective clients, ensuring all assignments meet established deadlines and budget estimates. Report to the Program Manager on account review status and coordinate service delivery improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in science or engineering
- Minimum of ten years of environmental consulting experience
- Proficient with multiple database software programs, MS Office software products, financial tools, and project management programs
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of federal environmental regulations
- General broad knowledge of HSE best management practices and site remediation programs
- Excellent written and communication skills
- 10% travel domestically
- Must be able to work with or in an environment that contains unpleasant conditions, and/or chemicals or hazardous materials
