Job Summary
Senior Environmental Consultant responsible for selling and delivering environmental consulting services, managing projects, maintaining client relationships, supervising staff, pursuing new business, and applying expertise in site investigations, remediation of contaminated soil/groundwater/vapor, hazardous waste sites, and regulatory programs (CERCLA, RCRA); requires Bachelor's in Engineering or sciences, >10 years in environmental consulting, professional license/certification, strong communication, leadership potential, and commitment to technical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical) or a science-related discipline; preference for Geology or Earth Science; Master’s degree preferred
- More than 10 years of experience in environmental consulting
- Possession of a relevant state license or professional certification
- Familiarity with state environmental programs and regulations; CERCLA and RCRA remediation experience is an asset
- Proficiency with project/program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel) for budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; technical writing abilities for environmental reports
- Long-term career interest in environmental consulting
