Senior Environmental Claims Adjuster

Adjudicate moderately complex commercial environmental claims (primarily first and third party, including storage tank exposures) and contribute to favorable financial outcomes for clients. Responsibilities include analyzing forms, policies, and endorsements to determine coverage, interviewing involved parties, writing coverage letters, managing claims through litigation when needed, maintaining timely diary entries, creating and reviewing reserves, identifying loss drivers through data analysis, coordinating expertise resources, preparing reports, and negotiating cost-effective solutions. The role requires on-site work at a designated office (initially NYC with multiple other U.S. office options) and/or remote work with specific jurisdiction constraints; strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with professional development and regulatory licensing requirements. The base pay varies by geographic area and includes potential annual bonus and benefits.
