Job Summary
Senior Environmental Assessment & Permitting professional sought to lead EA and permitting projects across Canada, with emphasis on regulatory applications, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, and client/regulator relationships. Requires 7-12+ years of EA/permitting experience and a post-secondary degree in an environmental discipline. Role involves mentoring junior staff, delivering high-quality project outputs, and travel within Canada (preference for BC-based collaboration) with flexible scheduling. Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in an environmental discipline (environmental science, engineering, ecology, or environmental policy/law)
- 7-12+ years of experience in environmental assessment and permitting in BC or a relevant Canadian jurisdiction
- Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulatory and permitting frameworks
- Demonstrated experience supporting EA processes and preparing regulatory applications and technical reports
- Experience working within an environmental consulting environment
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities
- Exposure to Indigenous consultation and stakeholder engagement processes is an asset
- Understanding of international environmental and social impact assessment standards is an asset
