Job Summary
Senior Environmental Analyst responsibilities include leading wildlife and environmental compliance for electric utility infrastructure; provide avian program support, monitor data, oversee permits and reporting, coordinate with agencies, and supervise external consultants. Emphasis on avian protection, MBTA/BGEPA/NEPA/ESA, GIS, data analysis, budgeting, training, stakeholder liaison, and regulatory compliance across UT, WY, and ID.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resource Management, Wildlife Biology, or Environmental Sciences; or the equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- A minimum of five years of senior level experience in natural resource, avian, wildlife, or related regulatory matters.
- Proficiency in avian/wildlife monitoring procedures and protection measures.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations including MBTA, BGEPA, NEPA, ESA.
- Data gathering, analysis and interpretation skills.
- Writing skills.
- Public speaking skills.
- GIS skills.
