Senior Enterprise Software Test Engineer

Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks to verify software requirements and ensure product reliability for the Affera Mapping and Ablation System. Develop automated tests, analyze workflows to identify quality risks, and create detailed test protocols while collaborating with cross-functional teams including software, systems, hardware, and quality engineering. Investigate new automation tools, execute manual and automated tests, and diagnose software defects in alignment with medical device regulatory standards and verification best practices. Maintain multiple hardware and software test configurations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science software engineering or equivalent
- 12 to 16 years of relevant experience
- Strong programming experience in languages such as Python, C# or C++
- Experience testing on Web / Desktop Applications
- Experience with UI automation tools such as Ranorex, Appium, Katalon, or Squish
- Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks
- Experience with software verification and validation processes
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies
- Experience collaborating with cross functional engineering teams
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
- Experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes or function generators
- Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Polarion, TestRail, JAMA, or TFS
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Quality Management System – Test Planning, Strategy
- Ability to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs
- Knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 62304 and FDA software guidance
- Knowledge on CI-CD Workflow
- Docker
- Knowledge of AI tool usage. Like Co-Pilot, Cursor
- Experience with system‐level testing of integrated hardware and software platforms
