Job Summary
Design and implement web applications using modern frontends and application servers that consume APIs and micro-services in a heterogeneous environment. Develop backends including data modeling, APIs, and supporting pipelines to support the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. Rapidly iterate on tooling and adopt software practices and patterns that scale to large codebases and teams. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, with mentorship from seasoned engineers in aerospace and big tech. Located in Torrance, CA, with relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, an engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of software development or relevant industry experience
- Experience building, shipping, and supporting complex, data-intensive full-stack software applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on ambiguous problems
- Experience working with multiple programming languages
- Experience with API Design
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms and frameworks
- React, Vue, or similar
- GraphQL
- Nodejs
- OAuth
- Terraform
- FastAPI
