Job Summary
Senior Enterprise Risk & Control Governance & Reporting Officer supports governance of enterprise risk programs (Internal Controls, RCSA, Risk Identification) through development and maintenance of program frameworks, policies, and procedures. The role compiles and synthesizes risk reporting and insights to support management and governance committee routines and effective risk oversight. Responsibilities include developing governance materials, tracking remediation and emerging risks, coordinating with first and second lines of defense, training coordination, and supporting audit/regulatory requests. Must be located in one of Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, or Richmond with in-office work 5 days/week. H-1B/F-1/CPT sponsorship is not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
- Eight to ten (8-10) years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal controls, audit, or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of Operational and Enterprise Risk Programs (e.g., Internal Controls, RCSA, and Risk Identification frameworks)
- Experience in governance, policy and procedure development, and committee reporting
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level materials
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization
