Job Summary
Design and deploy intelligent workflow automations using UiPath and n8n to eliminate high-volume manual data entry across Zalando's European logistics network. Integrate Large Language Models into daily business processes for transport, customs, and packaging experts, establishing robust "Human-in-the-loop" architectures that transform rule-based tasks into supervised independent systems. Define development guidelines to ensure decentralized bots are auditable and secure, while managing API connections between legacy enterprise systems like SAP and modern orchestration tools. Collaborate with operational Subject Matter Experts to rapidly discover automation opportunities through process mining and push solutions to production within fast-paced sprints.
Required Qualifications
- deep, hands-on expertise in developing and architecting workflow automations using enterprise platforms like UiPath Suite and n8n
- practical, demonstrated experience in prompt engineering and safely integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into live business operations
- solid foundation in basic programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) enabling you to write custom logic within automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with OCR and AI tools to extract structured data from unstructured logistics documents (e.g., invoices, customs forms)
- Proficiency in Process Mining (e.g., Celonis) or Task Mining to scientifically identify and prioritize automation opportunities
- Proven ability to build "self-healing" workflows and exception-handling frameworks
- strong capability in designing, managing, and troubleshooting APIs to create data bridges across diverse internal systems
- master communicator and stakeholder manager, easily translating complex operational friction from business experts into actionable technical requirements
