Job Summary
Senior Enterprise Application Architect to lead the architecture and modernization of Prison Fellowship’s enterprise application ecosystem. Design target-state architectures, standardize APIs, advance event-driven patterns with Redpanda, and build robust integrations across home-grown applications, Salesforce Sales Cloud/Data Cloud/Marketing Cloud, and the data warehouse. Hands-on leadership in implementing SOA/EDA standards, event schemas, secure and scalable integrations, and cloud-native best practices using PHP (Laravel), React, and PostgreSQL on AWS/Azure. Responsible for technical documentation, CI/CD, observability, DevOps practices, and translating business needs into technical roadmaps. Travel up to 5%.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering/architecture
- 5+ years in enterprise architecture
- Hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel), React, PostgreSQL
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- SOA/EDA experience, Kafka or Redpanda, API-first architecture (REST/GraphQL)
- Experience integrating with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- ETL/ELT, CDC, batch/streaming pipelines, data quality/lineage practices
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Security, performance engineering, DevOps, and documentation skills
- Remote/work-from-home with minimum 5% travel
