Job Summary
Senior Engineering Technician (2 POSITIONS) on 2nd shift in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Responsible for documenting and developing technical functions related to tests, quality control, layout, manufacturing, modification and assembly of mechanical equipment and its components; performing electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical and testing tasks; calibrating and maintaining equipment; producing technical reports with graphs/diagrams; troubleshooting electrical, testing, mechanical, hydraulic, or installation systems; supporting technicians/engineers; ensuring calibration of tools; participating in equipment installation/validation, software deployment in eCMMS, and SPC processes; contributing to engineering or ECO changes; maintaining compliance with health, safety and environmental practices; and executing various duties in manufacturing environments including clean rooms as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- EDUCATION: Studies, technical degree or equivalent
- JOB EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years of related experience in the position
- Knowledge of Dimensions and geometric tolerances
- Reading and Interpretation of component drawings / Knowledge of the Plans
- Basic English language preferred
- Ability to successfully complete departmental/corporate training courses in manufacturing techniques
- Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with the specific discipline
- Knowledge of GMP's / ISO preferably
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, calibration procedures and quality systems preferably
- Ability to use measurement and testing equipment associated with the specific discipline
- Knowledge of Campus information systems preferably
- Ability to use the internal documentation change system
