Job Summary
Orchestrate is Zattoo's modern IPTV/OTT middleware powering both our own B2C streaming services and B2B operators; lead the backend team through a growth phase with ownership over the platform's technical direction in a multi-tenant, customer-connected environment. You'll design APIs and architecture, collaborate with product managers and designers to shape the management console and developer portal, drive API quality and onboarding for internal and external partners, champion technical debt and reliability on the roadmap, and coach/hire engineers to raise the bar. Preferred experience includes APIs design, distributed systems, multi-tenant platforms at scale, and familiarity with Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in backend engineering
- experience leading teams
- designed APIs, built distributed systems, or operated multi-tenant platforms at scale
- strong sense for integration quality
- navigated competing priorities across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- strong communication skills in English
- experience with IPTV/OTT, media streaming, or B2B platform products
- bonus: familiarity with Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes
