Job Summary
Lead a group of 10+ engineers and team leads on the Windows Endpoint, solving complicated real-world problems while driving architectural excellence and operational integrity. Continuously enrich knowledge of Windows OS internals and the EPP/EDR ecosystem to design capabilities that improve product stability and user experience. Take end-to-end ownership of product capabilities from ideation to production, making decisive trade-offs that balance innovation, security, and long-term organizational health. Mentor a global managerial bench to build a succession pipeline and foster a high-performing culture. Manage globally distributed teams across multiple time zones with data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Group Lead or Senior Engineering Manager
- Experience in the areas of C++ and OS internals (security, storage, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of performance management
- Proven success in coaching team leads and building a succession pipeline
- Ability to drive complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to production
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Proven experience with team building and advanced software methodologies
- Expertise in managing globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Data-driven decision-making and prioritizing approaches
- Excellent interpersonal skills and great communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with security-oriented development
- Windows Kernel development experience
