Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of engineers to foster professional growth while developing and implementing strategies that align with company objectives. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration, manage budget and resource allocation, and drive innovation through the adoption of new technologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in all engineering activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and initiatives. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a managerial capacity. Candidates must meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within an engineering environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects
- Experience in strategic planning and execution in a technology-driven organization
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertinent to engineering and technology sectors
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of engineers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovative solutions
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and technologies relevant to the company's industry
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within engineering teams
- Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data
