Job Summary
Senior Engineering Manager responsible for overall project leadership across scope from planning to closeout, including project management, client/stakeholder communications, budget and cost control, QA/QC, regulatory permitting, and business development. Requires independently designing civil site layouts and infrastructure, producing concept-to-construction plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations, SWPPP preparation, construction cost estimating, and leading junior staff. Must serve as primary client/regulatory agency contact, guide teams, ensure entitlement and permitting documentation, and contribute to internal initiatives and strategic growth. Desired experience includes 15+ years in land development, PE license, and ability to manage a large book of business and build long-term client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 15+ years of land development experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Strong leadership and client relationship skills
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
- Bluebeam, StormCAD or similar software experience
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes, regulatory permitting and budgeting
