Job Summary
Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and firmware domains to deliver high-quality products and drive business growth. Translate business direction into engineering priorities, execution plans, and resource allocation while overseeing project governance, technical tradeoffs, and risk management. Establish clear metrics, cadence, and accountability to ensure predictable execution aligned with schedule, cost, quality, and customer expectations. Coach and mentor engineers, manage workload distribution, and foster a collaborative, results-driven environment. Recruit, interview, and onboard staff while driving continuous improvement in processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of engineering experience in product development
- 5+ years of leadership experience in engineering management roles
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and multiple concurrent programs
- Strong organizational leadership across multi-disciplinary engineering functions
- Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication
- Exceptional drive for results and ownership of complex execution
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
- Deep system-level technical understanding across hardware and firmware domains
- Ability to scale teams, processes, and organizational capability
- Strong customer engagement and external influence capability
- Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams
- Strong collaboration and influence across matrixed organizations
- Continuous improvement mindset with focus on scalability and efficiency
