Job Summary
Lead a high-performing Growth Engineering team, hiring, developing, and retaining engineers while building the leadership layer needed to scale. Own the full growth funnel, managing acquisition, activation, retention, and notification systems that drive core metrics. Build a scalable, extensible growth platform with modular infrastructure enabling rapid experimentation and lifecycle targeting. Drive architecture and technical strategy to design systems for reliability, performance, and speed-to-ship. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Marketing to align on growth strategy and execution. Raise the engineering bar by championing observability, experimentation rigor, and data integrity at scale. Operate with ownership and velocity in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years managing engineering teams
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
- Experience owning systems that drive user acquisition, activation, or retention
- Experience owning platform infrastructure that powers growth at scale
Desired Qualifications
- Track record of developing senior engineers
- Experience managing managers or equivalent scope
- Experience in two-sided marketplace or consumer/prosumer products
