Job Summary
Provide expert-level understanding of the ERCOT system to team members and support transmission engineering managers with planning, studies, modeling, and automation. Take responsibility for the team's timely project completion while meeting quality and budget objectives, and develop resource utilization and revenue forecasting to track billable hour targets. Guide electrical engineers through power system steady state, short circuit, and dynamic stability studies, and promote process improvements to enhance efficiency. Support RFP responses, scope development, and key customer relationship management through industry engagements. This role requires a Bachelor's in electrical engineering and 7+ years of power systems experience, with occasional travel under 10%. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 7+ years of experience in power systems engineering roles
- Experience or familiarity with PSS/E, TARA, DSATools, Aspen, and other transmission analysis tools
