Job Summary
Lead and build the engineering team for the cloud-based creator platform by learning systems from retained engineers, hiring new staff, and making the platform independently operable. Ramp on platform architecture and operations through pairing with retained engineers, taking an early on-call rotation, and converting undocumented knowledge into runbooks. Manage the blended team of retained and incoming engineers while building the onboarding path using technical documentation, shadowing rotations, and per-subsystem sign-off criteria. Track and escalate knowledge-transfer risk by maintaining a subsystem-ownership map, flagging single-person dependencies, and prioritizing their elimination. Provide technical input to integration decisions.
