Job Summary
Senior Engineering Manager - Backend role leading teams building scalable data/AI infrastructure on the Databricks platform. Responsible for hiring and developing engineers, setting architectural standards, instituting testing and engineering-excellence processes, coordinating cross-team initiatives, and partnering with product management, sales, and customers to deliver features and products across multiple clouds and regions.
Required Qualifications
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field
- 12+ years of extensive experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Extensive experience as a Software Engineering Leader, building & scaling software engineering teams
- Extensive experience managing a team of strong software engineers
- Partner with PM, Sales, and Customers to develop innovative features & products
