Senior Engineering Manager, Agentic AI for Finance

Job Summary
Lead Finance AI transformation by identifying high-value automation use cases, redesigning underlying processes, and running focused pilots to prove business value. Act as the bridge between Finance, DnA, and IT to translate requirements into delivery-ready solutions with proper governance and controls. Build the operating cadence for transformation delivery, including intake, prioritization, and benefits realization, while driving adoption through UAT, training, and standard work. Partner directly with Accounting, Revenue, and GTM Finance to scale AI-enabled capabilities that improve productivity and executive decision-making. Work from the Bangalore office in compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in finance transformation, accounting, revenue / GTM finance, finance operations, consulting, business systems, data / analytics, or related roles
- Strong understanding of core finance and accounting processes, data structures, and workflows — including close, general ledger, revenue recognition, Quote-to-Cash / Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, controls, and related finance operations
- Demonstrated experience evaluating, piloting, or deploying one or more AI-enabled capabilities, such as GenAI, agentic AI workflows, AI / ML, predictive modeling, intelligent automation, analytics, or workflow solutions in Finance or an enterprise-adjacent function
- Personal, hands-on exposure to experimenting with and championing emerging AI technologies — GenAI tools, intelligent automation, and building workable prototypes yourself (including “vibe coding”) — staying current and bringing new capabilities to the team early
- Experience with the platforms that run accounting, revenue, and order-to-cash — ERP, CRM, CPQ / billing, close and reconciliation, cash application, external reporting, cloud data platforms, and BI — with the ability to define requirements for finance data products, semantic layers, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions
- Strong judgment around responsible AI, data governance, access controls, auditability, model risk, privacy, bias mitigation, SOX considerations, and human-in-the-loop review for financially material workflows
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation through influence — aligning business owners, technical teams, control partners, and executives around a practical roadmap and measurable outcomes — while managing multiple complex initiatives under tight timelines
- Ability to translate complex processes, data, and technology work into crisp executive updates, business cases, tradeoff discussions, launch plans, and adoption metrics
- You will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure's policies
