Job Summary
Lead the growth of the Transportation Planning and Traffic practice in Tampa by building a vision for local services and executing projects in traffic engineering, roadway, and ITS. Drive business development from strategy to win, cultivating long-term relationships with municipal, DOT, and private clients. Manage project performance and profitability while mentoring engineers and shaping the practice's direction. You will own the practice within the company, developing a team and culture that supports forward-thinking solutions for public infrastructure and private development.
Required Qualifications
- 15 plus years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, roadway, or ITS
- Licensed P.E.
- Proven track record of winning and delivering work locally
- Strong relationships with local agencies, municipalities, and or DOT
- Someone who understands how to move projects forward, not just design them
- Experience leading teams, managing projects, and developing people
- Comfortable being client facing and involved in problem solving early, not just reacting late
