Job Summary
Senior Staff Test Engineer to own lab-based verification and validation activities for IVR power electronics hardware, leading EVT/DVT across evaluation boards and demonstrator platforms; develop and execute test plans to verify electrical, thermal, functional, and protection requirements; validate real-world performance across operating conditions; bring up hardware, automate measurements, and drive root-cause analysis; collaborate with design, systems, and packaging teams; develop automated test setups using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools; integrate and automate data logging, test fixtures, and bench infrastructure; generate clear test reports and communicate findings and recommendations to engineering stakeholders; supported by a bachelor’s or master’s degree and 4+ years in hardware/test roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in test engineering, validation engineering, verification engineering, power electronics, or hardware development
- Strong hands-on experience with bench testing, hardware bring-up, and debug
- Experience with EVT, DVT, product verification, specification compliance testing, or hardware validation
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with test automation using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar tools
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment
