Job Summary
Senior Engineer (Waterfront/Structural) to lead technically on waterfront infrastructure projects in East Greenwich, RI. Responsibilities include independent technical decision-making, providing engineering expertise to project teams and clients, resolving field and design issues, performing complex engineering computations, serving as technical lead on projects of varying size, coordinating schedules and costs, mentoring staff, ensuring safety, and contributing to proposals and publications. Requires PE certification and 12+ years in waterfront/structural engineering with strong leadership, client-facing, and project-management capabilities. Relocation available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification required
- 12+ years progressive experience in project engineering
- Experience with evaluation and structural design of waterfront infrastructure (ports, marinas, coastal facilities)
- Experience with public/municipal, federal, port authority clients a plus
