Senior Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary
Lead the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection systems. Conduct feasibility studies, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements. Develop detailed engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates. Manage and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and compliance. Perform site assessments, inspections, and evaluations to identify project needs. Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, and project scopes in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements. Requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in hydraulic modeling software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
- Proven track record in project design and management
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
- Hydraulic modeling
- Infrastructure systems
- Collaborative approach to leading and working within diverse, multidisciplinary project teams
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as hydraulic modeling software (Visual Hydraulics, EFT Fathom, WaterGems)
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
