Job Summary
Senior Engineer – Water Resource Engineer for Iowa office focused on water, ecology, and site design. Responsibilities include leading and conducting project work, mentoring staff, developing client relationships, and guiding corporate development. Opportunity to drive growth in resilient water and site design, lead and manage projects of varying scope, and collaborate with teams across USA and Canada. Requirements include Civil Engineering degree, Iowa registration or ability to obtain within 6 months, 8+ years of experience, strong writing/communication, and demonstrated project management and client-relations capabilities. Preferred: expertise in green infrastructure and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (SWMM). Ability to lead and work remotely with colleagues and clients across offices.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
- Iowa professional registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 8+ years of experience
- Documented project management experience on projects of varying scope, size and complexity
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Client relations, presentations, and business development
- Capacity to lead and work remotely with coworkers and clients across USA and Canada offices
