Senior Engineer, Wafer Foundry Quality

Job Summary
As a Senior Engineer, Wafer Foundry Quality, you will manage wafer foundries’ quality metrics, drive continuous improvement, and act as a key liaison to address quality incidents through structured problem-solving. You will handle the quality program and auditing processes, develop standardized compliance reports, and lead quality calibrations to ensure consistent network quality. Key qualifications include an engineering degree, over 7 years of relevant experience, proficiency in quality tools, and strong analytical skills. Extensive travel (approx. 25% to various Asia locations) is required for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree required (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Electronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in Quality, Process, Process Integration, or Engineering in a wafer fab environment
- Proficient in MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of wafer fab production, WAT/PCM, product engineering, and quality requirements (8D, MRB, qualification release, change management)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in quality tools (control charts, Pareto, FMEA, etc.)
- Familiar with ISO9000/IATF16949/VDA; automotive experience is a plus
- Experience in safe launch procedures and product/process transfer
- Excellent communication skills in English (other languages a plus)
- Team-oriented and able to work under pressure, in multicultural environments, across time zones
