Senior Engineer - Tooling(Sentinel)

Job Summary
Senior Engineer - Tooling (Sentinel) responsible for owning and improving security tooling platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel, EDR, NAS Protect, and related tools. Drive automation, telemetry normalization, and content tuning to improve signal quality, speed investigations, and reduce operational noise across hybrid and cloud-native environments. Coordinate platform administration, health monitoring, upgrade coordination, incident/change/release processes, and governance/compliance in a regulated enterprise. Collaborate across Cybersecurity Engineering, SOC Operations, Incident Response, and partner technology teams; mentor colleagues; apply AI-enabled approaches to security tooling and content tuning. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related field preferred; 5+ years in security tooling and platforms; strong scripting/automation skills; familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and SOX/GxP; opportunity to leverage AI and automation in security workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in information security technologies and tooling
- Experience operating and supporting multiple security platforms (SIEM, EDR, NAS Protect, etc.)
- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with regulatory and oversight requirements (risk, audit, retention, access controls)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of information security technologies and processes experience
