Job Summary
Senior Equipment Engineer who owns and leads the reliability, qualification, and continuous improvement of Test Development Operations equipment used in new product introduction. Provides technical leadership in equipment qualification, line sustaining, downtime analysis, defect reduction, and cost optimization; mentors engineers and technicians; collaborates with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. Key duties include owning assigned manufacturing tools for availability and performance, driving preventive and predictive maintenance plans, reviewing equipment modifications and engineering changes, conducting root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, Why-Why) with robust corrective actions, developing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, and maintenance standards, and supporting capacity, yield, and cost-reduction initiatives through cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications emphasize a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and extensive experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing equipment engineering, line sustaining, reliability, and OEE improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Extensive experience in manufacturing equipment engineering within a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment
- Proven background in line sustaining, equipment reliability, maintenance engineering, and OEE improvement
