Job Summary
Senior Engineer, Test Engineering at Analog Devices designing and developing high-performance test solutions for first silicon verification, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing of precision digital and mixed-signal products. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and debugging multi-site test hardware/software solutions for characterization, qualification, and production wafer probe and final test; defining test schematics and collaborating with layout engineers on PCB-based test hardware; debugging test programs and correlating production tests to engineering bench measurements; supporting manufacturing to maintain production yield and quality; participating in new product development and evaluating future test systems; implementing a Design for Test plan and executing tests in Design Verification environments; managing project schedules aligned with product Introduction and release; and leveraging partial telecommute (2 days/week).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field (willing to accept a foreign educational equivalent)
- Three years of experience as a Test Engineer or related occupation developing product test solutions for analog or mixed signal integrated circuits
- Proficiency in object-oriented and scripting languages for analog/digital devices and products, Verilog, Verilog simulators, Spice simulators, or related languages
- Experience developing software in major ATE software platforms to test ICs on custom designed and debugged PCBs for interface to ATE
- Designing software and hardware to characterize and production test state-of-the-art ICs
- Using statistical analysis tools and reports oriented for validation of products to set test limits on products and datasheets
- Participating in project development including support of design-for-testability, product qualification, and ongoing support of products in production
- Releasing products to production by interfacing with Quality, Reliability, Applications, Product Engineering, Assembly, Failure analysis, and Global Operations
