Job Summary
Senior Engineer in Technology Development Operations Planning at Micron focused on coordinating, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of a developing new part within the fab. Responsible for planning for future product introduction, managing WIP and cycle times, developing standard processes and dashboards, performing what-if analyses, and presenting findings to drive fab performance improvements. Requires cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Operations, strong data visualization and statistical analysis skills, experience with SQL/Tableau, and a background in semiconductor manufacturing or production operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial System/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Operations/Manufacturing
- Master’s Degree in Industrial System/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Operations/Manufacturing
- Knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication manufacturing process with regards to capacity planning, automation, scheduling, cycle time and manufacturing efficiency
- Solid understanding of production line management techniques and theories
- Experience in using SQL, Tableau, AI tools in semiconductor wafer fabrication manufacturing process
