Job Summary
Design, build, test, and deploy Salesforce customizations including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Process Automations aligned to Sales team business requirements. Partner with sales stakeholders, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to translate complex workflows into scalable technical solutions. Own and enhance Sales Cloud capabilities, manage system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, and lead code reviews to uphold engineering standards. Actively participate in CI/CD pipeline management, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation while mentoring junior developers on best practices. Stay current with Salesforce releases and evaluate new features for Sales team applicability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with a strong hands-on track record
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and declarative automation tools (Flow, Process Builder)
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and core sales business processes
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, or middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi)
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices
- Active Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, application development, platform engineering, or a related field required
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Application Architect certifications
- Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD toolchains such as Copado, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins in a Salesforce context
- Prior industry experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, or life sciences (aligned with Cencora's business)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions for non-technical sales stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience coaching or mentoring junior developers on Salesforce best practices
- Exposure to Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, or platform data security and compliance tools
- Experience with data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader, Informatica) for large-scale sales data management
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals, RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) certification, or equivalent preferred
