Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years of civil/structural engineering experience, capable of leading initial project studies, developing design approaches, coordinating documents and activities for major projects, and mentoring junior engineers. Requires expertise in structural analysis and design using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, and software for prestressing/post-tensioning (ADAPT PT, ADAPT Floor). Strong communication skills, ability to conduct technical presentations and lead meetings, and thorough familiarity with regulations and industry codes. The role supports forensic engineering for heavy industrial structures and involves supervision and collaboration with customers, engineers, suppliers, and officials, with a focus on delivering repair and strengthening solutions and ensuring quality and safety. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 10+ years of experience
- SE registration at DM and have SOE membership is an advantage
- capable of supervising personnel and managing design activities
- familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards
- lead initial project studies and help develop the sale approach
- plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities for major projects
- experience with repair materials and strengthen solutions
- supervision of one or two junior engineers
- ability to mentor junior engineers
- ability to deliver technical presentations
- ability to conduct effective meetings
- ability to develop advanced structure models and perform gravity and lateral analysis using ETABS SAFE SAP2000 RAM Concept
- ability to use ADAPT PT and ADAPT Floor for prestressing and post-tensioning
- strong written and oral communication skills
- willingness to work in Dubai (United Arab Emirates)
