Job Summary
Develop and execute comprehensive validation test plans covering SSD functional, power, performance, and thermal validation. Drive test automation and framework development to improve efficiency, scalability, and coverage using industry-standard tools such as Quarch and ESPEC chambers. Lead system bring-up, debugging, and validation readiness for new platforms, while collaborating with firmware, hardware, and system teams to drive root cause analysis. Ensure readiness of systems under test for large-scale lab execution cycles and continuously enhance validation methodologies. Demonstrate proficiency in AI-enabled tools and automation workflows to improve validation efficiency, utilizing AI-assisted techniques for log analysis and failure triage in compliance with Micron AI governance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in SSD / storage validation
- Strong understanding of system architecture, including CPU, memory, PCIe, NVMe, and OS interactions
- Hands-on experience in power and performance testing and analysis
- Experience using Quarch tools for power measurement and characterization
- Experience with thermal validation using ESPEC chambers and environmental testing
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Experience in system bring-up, debugging, and platform-level validation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Python preferred
- Experience in large-scale lab environments and execution infrastructure
- Exposure to enterprise SSD validation and PCIe Gen4/Gen5 platforms
