Job Summary
Develop reliable and critical services for existing and new payment platforms by designing transaction processing, merchant services, and settlement systems. Build APIs, backend services, and batch jobs to integrate legacy and new payment infrastructures while collaborating with Product, DevOps, and Business teams. Identify technical gaps and risks before development, then troubleshoot production incidents and guide junior engineers on coding standards. Review code for design, performance, and security, ensuring modules remain stable and aligned with product requirements. Propose scalable technical solutions and apply AI coding tools to enhance development efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
- At least 3–5 years of software development experience
- Backend development experience
- Familiarity with basic SDLC including Agile development
- Solid programming ability in at least one backend technologies such as Java, C# .NET, Python, or similar
- Building REST APIs
- System integration
- Backend service development
- Foundational knowledge with both TSQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and No-SQL databases
- Distributed systems knowledge
- Hand-on experience on some of the AI Coding development tools (Claude, Codex, Kiro)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork
