Job Summary
Senior Engineer role in the Singapore Public Service (EMA) to strengthen Critical Physical Infrastructure (CPI) security for the power and gas sectors. Responsibilities include reviewing CPI classifications, conducting Security-by-Design reviews with licensees and authorities, reviewing and proposing amendments to codes of practice and licences to enhance physical security, developing contingency and response plans for emergency scenarios such as supply chain disruptions, geopolitical tensions, and climate-change impacts, and conducting power system reviews to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation measures. Involves planning for inter-agency emergency planning and preparedness exercises to validate sector response and communication with EMA, agencies, and licensees. Requires education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and knowledge in power generation/operations/maintenance and/or physical infrastructure security.
