Senior Engineer for Field Engineering supporting ISP/OSPv projects with site surveys, BoM development, and end-to-end installation/testing for Long-Haul Optical Transport Networks; role involves 50% travel to listed CA/NM/OR/MO/OH locations, requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, and experience with WAN/LAN circuits, OTDR, and installation/testing of telecom systems.
Required Qualifications
- ISP installation experience is required
- Experience in troubleshooting ISP telecom systems is required
- Associate’s degree and five years’ experience or bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience preferred
- Experience with installation and testing of new and active WAN/LAN circuits is required
- BICSI certifications desired
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required or TS/SCI preferred
- 50% travel requirement
- Experience with Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR)
- AC/DC Power and Grounding knowledge preferred
